Dear Jim,
Many Thanks for the card, sorry you will not be down this weekend. I should love to see ‘The Girl on the Film.’ Hope you are keeping well. Things are still very slow here. With love and Good Wishes Flo (illegible) x
1960s, a very atmospheric photo of my Mother, running about a field with a big bunch of wild flowers.
1930s My Grandma Valerie again, I looked closely and either there’s something stuck on her eyelid or the light has caught her eye very sharply, it’s almost unnerving. I love the photograph anyhow, it’s very unusual-looking, don’t ya think?
1908
Phyllis again on her Wedding day to my Great Grandfather Eric Mayer around 1920, I think this may be a repost but it’s such an unbelievably beautiful photo I can’t resist.
Evelyn and Phyllis Sexton (my great grandmother) collecting flowers and being generally sweet and lovely by the looks of things. Notice Evelyn’s dedication to being photographed with that same teddybear, throughout her childhood, as seen in these photos. Adorable.
Undated, early 20th century, this girl knows how to party

I updated a design for my little sister’s birthday, the imagery is related etymologically to our names. The scan isn’t very good but n/m. She may end up getting this tattooed on her thigh. :)
My mum- Sarah-originates from the Hebrew for Princess, hence the crown
My sister- Chloe- originated from Greek, meaning little green shoot, hence the leaves
Me- Rosemary- originates from Latin, meaning dew of the sea, hence the waves
My sister- Florence- originates from Latin, meaning bloom or flowers, hence the roses.
And a big ship as a symbol of our strength and unity. I love my family.
Happy Birthday Flo xxx
